I LOVE my raw shea butter! But I was wondering whether most just use it raw, straight out the jar (like I am doing now), or whip it and possibly add something to it. And if you do, how do you do it?

so...SPILL!!! =)

I mix it with what I have on hand. The mix I am using right now is shea and mango butter (wondergro... was too hard to use as a moisturizer from the jar) with castor and coconut oil. Its too hard and sticky for me to use on its own.

I mix mine with coconut oil, castor oil and aloe vera gel. I use this mix as a sealant after using my homemade moisturising spritz.

I like to whip mine that way it is easier to apply.
I mix it with cocoa butter, mango butter, coconut oil

or sometimes just coconut oil and aloe vera gel
in my fotki, I posted a few recipes of my mixes

I like to whip mine with oils too. I just use my hand blender.

I whip my shea butter with oils. Usually castor or palm oil. I've also whipped it up with a aloe vera gel too. I've started adding Vitamin E oil to my mixes as well (antioxidant). I use my hand mixer.

My shea butter is so soft and smooth. I think Dana whipped it already.....lol. I got it from Jasmine's Bath and Beauty!!!

I mix my shea with coconut oil. I beat it with a spoon

bump because inquiring minds want to know. Thanks OP.

I only got real shea butter once and I mixed it with a ton of oils. I don't think I will do so much oils next time but I loved it nonetheless. I used castor, olive, coconut, lavender.I think that's it. It was a tad greasy so next time I will use less oils.

I whip my shea butter with a little coconut and olive oil. love it.
