Does anyone go under the steamer with a roller set before going under hooded dryer?

After patiently waiting for the answer for more than two years
, I decided to try it myself (only I will be air drying my rollerset). I am under the steamer with rollers right now. I'll report back.

Ok, I'm back. I think the steamer made a slight difference for the better. My hair feels a bit smoother than usual, and my 13 weeks of new growth seems a bit softer and more stretched out. With all of this new growth, there's enough of a benefit here for me to continue doing this. Nice!

I just got out from under the dryer and my hair feels soooo moisturized! I steam on occasion and it feels good to my hair, but I really love the way my hair feels with this rollerset! I colored my hair (so I needed to start with my hair dry. I just had to cover my grays so I didn't henna since I didn't have it in the house). I used the conditioner that came with the color (Megasilk), and mixed it with Garnier Fructis Triple Nutritiion 3-minute Undo, and Aubrey's Blue Camomile Hydrating Conditioner. I kept it on for 15 minutes (under a plastic cap), rinsed, spritzed my hair with water and applied Silicon Mix Intensive Leave In to my hair before I rolled my hair. Set the steamer for 15 minutes, then got under the dryer. I just took my rollers out and my hair is bouncy and so soft and moisturized!
I will do it this way from now on!!!

This is interesting. I would have never thought to do this. We LHCFers can get quite creative. I've been lazy about steaming. I need to pull that bad boy out or sell it to someone who will use it more than I have.
