I haven't really ordered anything from them in like 2 to 3 years and even then it was only a thing or two. I just felt that they were waaaayy over priced, and I am by no means cheap. I just felt that there were other natural companies out there that had products that I already knew worked well for me and they were reasonably priced. This far into my HHJ the only "Holygrails" I have are Jessicurls WDT, and Darcy botanicals leave in. I like Qhemet Biologics BRBC, but I feel it's too greasy kinda. I don't like greasy hair.

I am open to trying a few new things, but I have been out of the game for so long, I don't know what's good anymore. What do you think of Afroveda? What products have you used and did you love/hate it? Please share.

Thanks ladies

Love Ashlii Amala Raspberry Deep Conditioner. It's a very nice DC'er and she recently lowered the price for $21.95 to $15.95.

I also love, love, love the Moringa & Ginseng Detangling Spritz. Very nice.

I also like her Oils. She has a very nice Shikakai Hair Oil and the Burdock Root Hair Oil is nice.

She discontinued a few Conditioners and I was able to stock up on her discontinued DC'ers for a Steal.

I have a tiny jar of Shea Amala that I got some place for $5 bucks. I don't normally use her "Butters" at all.

I do like Ms. Bhree Hair Lotion, but haven't purchased it in a while.

I have an unopened Jar of Power Oasis (Fruit Cocktail) Hair Crème that I haven't tried yet.

She did go to Flat Rate Shipping. And it takes a while. She is slow. But product presentation and bottles/jars are top notch.

I've used the Pur whipped gelly and the Totally twisted ginger almond butter and I didn't like either one. The gelly made my hair feel hard and dry and the butter was wayyyyy to thick for my hair.

I was thinking about getting a bottle of this. What's it comparable to?

Slow shipping I would not like at all. I was looking into some of the oils but hmmmmm. Thanks so much, seems you have used a lot. Have you tried the JCWDT? I way eying that Afroveda DC, but JCWDT works so wel, I feel it will be hard to compete with.

she's having a 35% off sale that ends today i think the line is overpriced. i like teh whipped gelly and always wait until its 25% or more off and buy 2 jars of the 16oz and stash them in the fridge. I tried the shea amla before her crazy price increase of 50% way back when and she also did 32oz sizes.

@sparkle25 Love Jessicurl Weekly Deep Treatment. I have several "Jars" of this. Haven't purchased since she put it in a bottle. Very, very nice Deep Conditioner.

I also love Too Shea! for Cowashing. Shipping is very slow. Although it has slightly improved.

@blackeyes31626 It's a nice detangler. Not sure what it's comparable to? Any other detangler....Maybe Naturelle Grow's Ginger Peach.

Wow she increased her prices by 50%? Ill bet she lost a lot of customers! I must ave discovered te line prior to that!

I bought a bunch of samples of the following:
Hemp Seed Lock, Twist & Roll Butter
Totally Twisted Ginger Almond Butter
PUR Whipped Hair Gelly

There was nothing about these products that would make me order them again.

I really hate the new bottles. I liked the jar! With the jar you know you are getting ALL of the conditioner out of it, and its annoying to have to sit there me squeeze the bottle with slippery hands as you're applying it.

How's the spray detangler and the rinse out from this line?

Edit: I mean, does it really detangle? It's pretty expensive... I want to make sure it's going to get all the tangles out w/minimal or no breakage for $17 a bottle lol.

The Detangler is excellent. It removes tangles like a dream. However, I am relaxed.

There was a natural in U1B1 that also used it, but she rarely posts any more.

What R/O are you referring to?

Good stuff. I need something to help detangle my new growth...

Is the Coconut Moisture Milk Conditioner rinse out? I think you can rinse it out or deep condition with it...

Her R/O's are nice. She had some really good ones and discontinued them (and they were reasonably priced).

She had a Neem one and a Goat's Milk one that were Excellent and she discontinued them and only kept the Coconut one.
