Does essential oil stimulate growth?

I condition my hair with pepermint oil added in my conditioner I want to know if it really stimulates growth..and what are some other growth aids?

i put peppermint and tea tree oil in my oils and moisture spritz. i think they're healthy for the scalp and the tingling increases blood flow to the scalp which would = a healthier scalp = healthier hair...

but i dont know how scientific that actually is... i just like the tingle and the smell

Yeah. Co-sign on the blood flow creating growth. products that stimulate blood flow in the scalp can help with growth. This is what I've heard.
