I want to do a "search and destroy" trim on my hair...but I'm also trying not to use heat until next Dec.

I'm hoping that my hair can be "natural" while trimming, but I'm wondering if that's possible.

I wanted to trim now, so that I can bun my hair constantly, and I think by starting off with neat ends, I can possibly gain more healthy progress. :drunk:

So is it possible?? Or do i just have to straighten??

I believe if you're just doing an S&D, you can do it on your natural hair and be just fine.

Great! I'm thinking i could just brush my hair out to make it poofy....sort of like if i blowdry, and s& d that way! So this is good to know!

When I trim/dust with natural hair, I wash my hair and as I do my rollerset I snip the flyaways at the top and dust my ends. I wouldn't do this if I were doing a big trim (inches) but with a dusting it helps my hair out and I know I'm doing each section carefully.

If you have a skilled hairdresser she will be able to trim your curly hair. I've wayched my hairdresser cut curly 3c hair. She soaks the hair with water, combs it down and trims.
