Does youanyone snip their hair just to be snipping

Sorry about the messed up title. My phone rang and I hit enter.

Here I am sitting at my desk and bored out of my mind. I did a Co-wash and wear and was examining my ends. I thought to myself “these ends are uneven I should trim it”. So I opened my desk drawer and pulled out the scissors. I was getting ready to put my fingers threw the loops and stopped myself. I had a quick thought “your hair is 10 weeks post after you relax your ends will be uneven”. So I put scissors in the drawer and couldn’t believe I almost did it.

I'm at my desk doing something very similar.

I have a braid out right now and I'm looking through my hair for split ends and snipping them.

I'm finding all kinds of jacked up things going on with these ends.

-Little knots
-Split inthe middle of the strand
- tripple split.

yuck, no wonder I'm still getting little hairs on the sink and on my shirt.

I don't know any other way to get these under control other than to snip.

Yeah I do that a lot. Most of the time I do end up snipping. I tell ya, it feels goooood too.

My splits and triple spits all but disappeared much better once I switched to daily co-washes. I find the occasional knot still.

I'm right there...clipping my ends is pleasurable release..and all it takes is a tiny snippings, but I must do my whole heads..thank god it hasn't hendered my progess

The snipping urge was fierce. I'm shocked I almost did it, haven't snipped in months.

A did a sympathy snip last year. One of my co workers had cancer and her hair was falling out. So I snipped a lock of my nape and sealed it in an envelope. I told her not to open it until she got home. Her roomate said she started crying when she opened it. My hubby was pissed.
