Hey everyone
I'm hearing stuff about monistat 7, Minoval, MTG, But don't sleep on the Wild Growth Hair Oil...
Just to report my experience with WGO:

After my hairdresser cornrowed my hair super-tight the front of my hairline was quite thinned out.
So I started using WGO and oh. my. Gosh.
It actually works!!! My hairline is so full!!! I wish I had pics to show but my phone hasn't got the cable to connect to my computer yet.

Even my sides ( the hairline by the sideburns) have grown long past my jaw line...its never been that long!! I've gotten at least an inch on my hairline in just under 4 weeks!
So I figured, if it did that to my hairline, maybe it would grow the other hair  ...
I started using it on the nape---it worked!!!! I got really fast growth (but that could also be due to my vit regimen)
The only bit it hasn't really grown as well as the hairline is my hair in the centre of my head.

I can definately second this post. When I was younger I went to a stylist who didn't disinfect her comes and my scalp became infected and my hair fell out. I started using wgo and my bald spot filled in quickly and the hair quality there was better than on the rest of my head. I've had baldness problems from chemicals and satanic hairdressers at least twice in my life but my hair completely recovered with wgo.

I haven't really used it on my scalp, but I love it for airdrying the hair. It really seals in the moisture and gives the hair a nice shine. WGO gets a  from me too.

Hooray for WGO!!!!

I love the oil! It has so many purposes, and it always gets the job done for me. I like to oil my scalp with it after I wash. My scalp stays nice and moist but not greasy. It's also great for softening up stubborn new growth.
I like it for airdrying too...I just recently realized how great it is for sealing moisture and taming frizzies when airdrying.

WGO has been in my regimen since I started my healthy hair journey, and it goin NOWHERE!!! :D

Does anyone know the ingredients for WGO? When I visit their website, there isn't much info about it.

The ingredients are:

olive oil, jojoba oil, ergocalciferol (vitamin D), choline, inositol, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, natural color, fragrance.

Yep...WGHO is the truth. I use it on my scalp after washing and I never have problems with dry scalp. I also apply it to the ends of my hair while its still damp and I air dry. It dries soft and not crunchy. I apply a little more when its dry and that's it. I put it on my edges at night and my hair has done nothing but thrive since I started using it over a year ago.

Well have to give WGO a thumbs up too! Although I am using MTG on a daily (rather nightly) basis, I am now 11 weeks post and I use WGO on my scalp so when my hair dries, the new growth will be moist. I have been doing co-washes just about every other day and the WGO makes it so much easier to comb through when its dry. (sometimes its still damp though by the time I get ready to do another co-wash).....Like it for sealing in ends too when I bun....

What do you all do about the smell? I find that it works best undiluted but I just cant tolerate the smell so I have to dilute it. How much do you use and what do you do about the smell? TIA.

ITA!!!! I love this stuff!

I recently purchased WGO. I used a small dot of a speck on a tiny bit of hair... the smell was HORRIBLE!!!

I guess I'll get back around to using it... once i find something to kill the scent... (I'm thinking of adding peppermint oil)

I love this stuff too! But it is hard to tell if my hair is thriving because of WGO alone, or other things in my regimen. But I definitely love how it makes my hair feel. And I know Inositol and Choline together makes hair grow, so I will be going to GNC and getting the pills to add to my regimen!

How have you ladies been using WGO to get the full effects? For example, I am trying to get my hairline to grow back in fuller and thicker. I am just not sure how to use WGO. Should I use it everyday?

Hello Everyone:

I use WGO on my on my hair (2a) on my airdry rollersets, and it helped me to last 10 weeks post perm. I also use it on my girls's hair (9yr old (3a )and 4 (4b)yr old) natural. They both have shoulder lenght hair (not straighten) so the WGO on their new growth is a life saver.

It is so amazing that I instinctly knew how to take care of my girls hair (ie, conditioners, no heat appliances, protective styles, leave in conditioners), and so on. But it took for me to find this website to learn how to better take care of my own hair!!! Never once thinking to apply those methods to my own hair. How bright is that!!!!

WGHO is great. It took me a while to get over the scent, but now it doesn't bother me. I use it every other night on my scalp.

My hairline is looking much better now. I'm just waiting for my widow's peak to fill in.

I love WGO:D :lachen: :) I use it on my edges after a spritz of water. I soak my ends in it and wrap in Glad wrap. And I was amazed at how well it tamed wet hair without weighing it down.

And this stuff lasts and lasts. I bought this bottle in June and like the energizer bunny- it's still going!!!!

Dandy 112,You can use it every 2-3 days. I use it before bed when I wrap my hair so it kind of sinks in and absorbs well into the scalp.

The WGO is like the only oil I trust not to block my pores and thus slow growth.

Yeah, its great to use just after a wash. I use it like that on my scalp after a wash and it really absorbs quickly. Oooh yeah and I use it before a press sometimes....gets my hair really slick.

I haven't come across a better hair oil.

Where can I buy WGO? Also, can I buy Inositol and Choline at the vitamin store? Thanks! Also, thanks Jewell for listing the ingredients!

I purchased mine from Sally's.

I definitely give this  I use it after I wash, to seal in moisture and I use on my scalp every other day and massage in...It is a staple product for me.

This product is the truth. It makes my hair soft and makes it feel healthier. I JUST started using this and my surge in a consistant routine. The smell is horrid, but I find it eases up after a while.

I love WGO! I have found that drops of Jasmine cover up the smell nicely. I bought Jasmine Absolute in Jojoba Oil from Whole Foods and just kept adding drops until it smelled good.

i like WGO but does anyone else find it a bit sticky???
Its almost like i want to water it down or make it a bit thinner in consistency :ohwell:

I found it to be a sticky as well, when used on wet hair. When I would put it in between the rollers, My scalp would dry with a sticky mess in some places. However, it does leave hair soft.

After my nephew poured two bottles out, I haven't bought another one. I plan to today.
