I recently purchased the Huetiful hair steamer. I used Karen's Body Beautiful Luscious Locks condish; the results were ok but I cannot wait to try other conditioners.

For those of you who condition with a hair steamer, what are some of your favorite conditioners and/or conditioner recipes that leave your hair feeling moisturized, manageable and soft to the touch?

Elucence
Jessicurl Weekly Deep Treatment
Giovanni 50/50

All of these leave my hair feeling extremely moisturized when using the steamer.

My steamer went on the blink but the Skala Ceramides was my fave. Funny thing is, without the steam my hair hates the Skala.

Yes to Carrots DT

Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol

Pretty much any cond with some oils, honey or aloe vera juice added.

I guess you didn't get many responses because whatever product you use, the steamer will just kick it up a notch.

I don't have a favorite for my steamer - whatever I'm using is what I'd use if I use the steamer.

My stuff is pretty simple, I use a mix of conditioners I'm trying to get rid of, honey and a mix of oils I'm trying to get rid of.

No particular products, just conditioner, honey and oil as the base. I sometimes add SAA, pathenol or a ceramide product. I like to put that stuff on mostly mixed with my leave-in product.

I like the following:

Silicon Mix (original and Bamboo)
Narobi Humecta-Sil
Creme of Nature Professional Nourishing and Strengthen Treatment
Elasta QP DPR 11+

I like to mix up conditioners for this too. Adding oils is a must for me also. IMO the constant moist elevated temperature from the steam is what opens the cuticles and allows for such good obsorption. Thats why most any decent conditioner or conccoction will work. HTH
