My hair has been pretty dry lately no matter how much i condition it. so i have decided to stop using silicones & shampoo for a while to see how that works out. so that means no more of my beloved Jason's Biotin & Sea Kelp conditioners. i decided to clean/deep condition in one step using ayurvedic powders, coconut milk, rhassoul podwer, SAA, GPB & Nature's Gate Rainwater & Sea Kelp condish

i mixed up a bunch of stuff on a whim:

i mixed about 1/2 tbsp each of shikakai, amla, aritha, neem, basil powders

1 tbsp rhassoul clay

big squirts of GPB & Nature's Gate condish

about 4 drops SAA

enough warm coconut milk to make a thin paste

i mixed really well, applied to my hair & scalp, massaged it in

i wrapped my hair in saran wrap, then put a hot turban over it, then a shower cap and let it sit for about 1 hour

then i rinsed really well & did an oil rinse using coconut oil & macademia nut oil

i detangled then rinsed the oil, did an ACV rinse, and let my hair drip dry for about 15 minutes.

then i sprayed my leave in concoction (Giovanni 50/50 diluted in water, 4 drops SAA, a little coconut & macademia nut oils)

then i sealed with my mixture of castor & coconut oil/murumuru & cupuacu butter and put my hair in a plait.

Well, MY HAIR FEELS SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!!! :yay: :yay:

It's soft, smooth, and has a nice shine to it!!!

Just wanted to share. I really like this oil rinsing thing

That sounds absolutely great. I am glad that you had such a pleasant experience. I looooooooooove ayurvedic powder. I have multani mitti, rhassoul clay, shikakai powder, neem powder, tulsi powder, aritha powder and henna.

Wow! I'm sure your hair enjoyed that spa effect!!!! Sounds like a great concoction! Thanks for sharing.
