I can't even express how excited I am to finally be a part of the family. I've been a lurker for over 4 years! That's right... 4 years. To summarize my journey, I first stumbled upon LHCF when I was fed up with my over processed, thin, breaking, lack luster, shoulder length hair. It was absolutely horrible!
You wonderful ladies inspired me and I started researching how to take care of my hair. I finally decided to go natural.
Everyone I knew was trying to talk me out of it; mostly uninformed women that thought natural hair = nappy unattractive hair and I was determined to prove them wrong.
I transitioned for two years and after the two years I cut off my relaxed ends and fell in love with my texture. I have 4b/4c hair, that's wavy in the back, course on the sides, really course in the middle and wavy on top and I've learned to work with all of it thanks to all of the wonder information I gleaned from you ladies.
To see my hair here's a link to my first you tube video http://youtu.be/ZD38Ch5c1Ko
I started out with thin shoulder length hair and now I have thick BSL hair. I'm currently doing a Fall/Winter Hide my hair challenge, keeping my hair in twists and braids until March. I will be sure to post pics after my challenge is done.
With all of that said... I just want to conclude by saying THANK YOU! I couldn't have done it without you.
