Flaking scalp

My scalp was REALLY flaking this morning. Only in the front, in my hairline where I get eczema from time to time. My scalp is currently healing from the most recent flare up. I was actually happy to see the flakes, because I know that it’s all the dead, damaged skin falling off. And it’s not sore and itching or red anymore.

I was wondering how “regular” dandruff behaves. All of the flakes came out when I brushed them out with my fingers, but I know there‘ll be more because I know it isn‘t healed all the way yet. I wonder if I’ll have to treat it like regular dandruff or not... Or should I keep treating it as I always do?

Okay, I know this post is kinda gross, I’m sorry.

Not gross...I used to get eczema around my hairline - front and back...for some reason, I don't too much anymore b/c my hair is constantly moisturized in those areas.

As far as the dandruff, I don't know...sorry. Just wanted to say it's not gross.
