This weekend is the flat iron show down! Will it be Solia...Sedu...Chi...FHI? Only tomorrow will tell when I flat iron my air dried hair!! Stay tuned!!! Tomorrow morning I'll be flatironing one half of my hair with Sedu and the other half with FHI. The winner goes up against Chi and Solia Over 500 bucks in flat irons going head to head on my head!

I'm starting think that I was better off with my Jilbere Flat Iron with the temperature dial on it instead of forking over cash for my CHI, I was really pleased with the Jilbere and the CHI says it is only ceramic plated anyway. I should've returned it, oh well, its pink, its cute...

I'm really not feeling this iron. Even on the highest temp it didn't smooth my hair and make it silky. Also I noticed hairs on the plates...it seems to be pulling on my hair. Back to the store for Sedu!

I bought a maxiglide, sedu, and a chi ...... can't wait to hear your results and final choice...not gonna take the chi out of the box til I know how it performed for you! Keep us posted!

I am putting my $$$ on the Solia... I have a maxiglide and a solia... The solia outperforms the MG all the time. I just used the solia yesterday with the chi serum, my hair is so soft and silky...

Your Chi doesnt have a temperature setting on it?

Mine does, but I have the Chi turbo its red and black.

The FHI iron was 165 dollars. I didn't do half my hair because after about a 2 inch section it was obvious it wasn't gonna work it was barely smoothing my hair and it felt crispy after I rant the iron through it.

Now I've got the Ultra Chi which was 139.99. Ironically. I also one a RED Ceramic Iron from the Sophisticates Black Hair anniversary give away...so I'll also be trying this iron.

The head stylist recommend this Chi Iron...he said it's better than the Turbo and the Sedu...he was sure I'd love it. So let's see how it goes.

I'm so sick of flat irons I could scream. The Ultra Chi was crap...even on the highest setting. And my hair stinks of old burnt poo. I went in to get the Sedu and they don't have any right now. Maybe them being out of stock is a sign that this is the one.

Meanwhile the RED iron that I won was actually better than the chi, but I think after this I'm back to roller setting. Roller setting gives me silky bouncy hair with less damage.

I'd take pictures but my hair's a mess LOL. I hate flat irons!! I'm still gonna try the Sedu, but that's it after this one.

I spoke too soon! RED ROCKS! I totally never thought about buying this iron, but since I got it for free...

Well I just washed and blew out my hair with some Chi Silk Infusion. I picked up this puppy and it's really silkening my hair.

I still wanna try Sedu and Solia, but I'm loving this iron. For those of you looking for an inexpensive Ceramic iron this one is hot! No stinky poo poo hair and bouncy soft shiny.
