I don't know the first thing about flat irons. I don't heat style my hair at all, but I'm thinking about stretching my relaxers for longer and flat ironing once a month or so to make it a little bit easier. Anyway I was at Marshall's and saw this little travel sized flat iron that was pretty cheap (around 13 dollars). I bought it because I figured that it would be perfect for just getting my NG, but I've never even heard of Titanium plates before. Aren't the plates supposed to be ceramic or tourmaline? What kind of plate is better? TIA
