Flat Ironing and Henna Shine

I flat ironed my hair tonight in order to give an accurate review of my maxiglide for another thread. I had not flat ironed since I started to use henna. I was amazed at the color and shine that the flat ironing revealed. Has anyone else noticed this effect: henna + flat iron = Amazing color and shine?

Ohh now I know I will be a henna fool. Where can I get some good henna? I'll do a search...

Yes, my hair is shiner than ever. It got better over time. Also, I see shine even w/o flat-itoning. I used to use lots of heat protectants/serums for that, but it weighed my hair down. Now I don's use it that much and I still get the same shine.

That's exactly what i need when i flat iron - SHINE!..My hair gets so dull after only one day. I guess I gotta get some henna now
