Foam Twist Rollers?

Guys I have those foam/rubber long rollers that you roll your hair up and twist them to hold the hair on. Do you use tissue paper with these? I used them once and even though the curls were nice, the ends were kind of bent up and dry.

I don't use tissue paper with mine. When you secure the ends, make sure you allow your second loop to cover the end before winding the rest of the way up. Hope that makes since. The second loop will act as a barrier and you ends will dry flat and smooth.
