I've been wearing sew in for protective styling. With straight hair ive been very careful of moisturizing my hair under my sew in. Ive been using the hair trigger elixir and infusion for my hair underneath. I hate will the oils penetrate the weave , so i would wash weaved hair w/ clarifying shampoo to remove any oils, etc..

CVS had a dry shampoo on sell and it did the trick. On applied to my sew in, it removed the oils from my hair..

I got the TRESemme' Dry Shampoo Smoothing for Straight/Normal hair..

I would advise against the 1 for dry/damaged hair since it was probably has oils in it

if anyone cares, just returned home. My Senghori Shells hair light as a feather as if I have no oils on my real hair. Dry Shampoo has been a life saver.............

I'm thinking about weaving it up and had planned to try dove's dry shampoo for the weave. Glad to hear that dry shampoo works.

its been a life saver , i can oilm my hair down and not worry about weave being greasy and heavy!!! Good Luck!
