Full Sew-in or Wig For 1st time DIYer ?

The last set of braids I had put in did a number on my edges; I decided to self install a full sew-in or make a wig to give my edges a rest, but I'm not sure which is the better option.

I've never worn a wig or had a sew in, I have installed partial sew-ins for my friends though.

For those you you who've made wigs & done self installs, which ended up working out best for you? Why?

For those of you who've worn full sew-ins & wigs, which worked out best for you? Why?

Thanks dear ^^ !! I don't like keep styles in for very long so my bestie recommended that I try to make the wig, but I can't decide.

I vote for the wig. If you like to change things up it's super easy. I love them because I like being able to care for my scalp.
