No I never tried it as a leave in...But, I love it as a DC. That's what I'm going to get 2 of them. They truly make my hair feel like silk. I mix it with ApHogee 2 Min Keratin, honey and castor oil. Your hair will feel so lovely.

Thanks!! I love the smooth as silk conditioner and also the direct leave in. I always leave a lil of the SAS in under the leave in, especially during the summer months. My hair loves it!

depends on if you avoid certain ingredients or not. This conditioner seemed light enough to put it my hair and it didnt leave a white cast over my hair either.

After 3 trips to 3 different Rite-Aids , I finally got some Smooth as Silk conditioner. Oh, the things that I will do for a good sale!

yeah since no one answered me i bought 4 more bottles. I tried it as a deep conditioner and it didnt work but i love it as a leave in. It also worked great with my ecostyler gel.
