...told her I wanted it layered and highlighted...but...I don't know the colors that she used! I will call and ask her to let u all know though. She told me that my base color is some kind of brown and the highlights are a golden blonde or something. I'll have to ask her. She did the cut first...I got more nervous and more nervous as I saw the hair hit the floor. She cut off about 2 inches (of course more to make the bangs.) Then she did the base color. She left it on for about an hour and a half. When I first saw it in the mirror, it looked orange and I almost started crying! I was thinkin' in my head, "oh man...I should have left my hair alone!" Then she did the highlights...again...I looked in the mirror and tears welled up! She saw my reaction and told me to wait until she styled it. Well ya'll she styled it...I loved, loved, loved the cut, but I couldn't get used to the color. Y'all know my hair was black...and those blonde highlights was just too much for me. She told me that I need to quit being plain lol...and give it two weeks and if I STILL didn't like it, then she would tone down my highlights. She also told me to call her everytime someone gave me a compliment. Well ya'll lets just say she told me to stop calling! lol Its growing on me, so I don't think I'm going to get it toned down....do ya'll like the dark hair or the lighter hair better?nicki6 said:The hilites look great!Did you do it yourself?
