Hair Buddies

Just curious. I see people talking about hair buddies and I was wondering how to find one. I would love to have someone with the same hair goals and concerns to walk this journey with.

How did you find out about this site? My hair buddy is the person that told me about this web site. We talk hair all the time. I'm still rather new and have so much to learn and I get great advice/suggestions from my hair buddy. She has volunteered to do my touchup for me in Dec. because I cant do it where I only put the chemicals on the new growth only.

My concerns: Right now my hair just doesn't seem to want to grow. I know most of it is my fault (relaxing myself), so I need to start taking better care of my hair.

I am wearing a fake bun right now and doing CO rinses every night. I also drinking more water and I have started taking vitamins.

It is just that no one around me understand my hair woes and goals. My goal is to have one lenght even shoulder hair. I know it can be done even though I haven't had hair like that since I was 8 and my mother attempted to put a "curl" in my hair.

What length is your hair currently? Mine is growing out from a very short cut that I have worn since Jr. High. I decided to let it grow in March of this year and it is now almost chin length on the sides and my longets parts in the back are almost to the bottom of my neck.

well, i'm in Atlanta and my goal is 4 inches past my bra strap. we should just cave into the addiction we have to this site and just start having bi-monthly meetings in our area or something

You could be my hair buddy. We have similar situation. My hair in the back is shoulder length but the front and sides won't catch up.

Well I have several hair buddies. We talk about hair, and whatever else. We keep each other updated on what's going on, give tips advice etc. Sometimes my buddies my need a shoulder to "cry on" and I am there for them!

Thank God for my hair buddies. what you may have to do is post a question asking for members who may be from your area. I love going to the bss with Spicee1t, its better than shopping for clothes.

I'm 4a/b and looking for a hair buddy who enjoys
*talking about keeping hair healthy
*exchanging ideas on our regimens
*and taking long walks in the park so people can see our hair

The must also share like goals such as
*maintaining an ongoing advice relationship with all members of the LHCF community
*saying no to all heat except on the day they wash their hair---maybe.
*trying to achieve 6-7 inches of growth before they reach their desired length.

I feel like i'm at a dating service lol

that's funny, dating service huh! I'll be moving to Atlanta next summer and would be more than glad to have a hair buddy. My hair is bra strap now and I'm aiming for mid back. Is there any one else with these goals?

I want a hair buddy too, my buddy doesn't need to live near me tho... I can shop online or whatever just as long as we check up on one another with goals and such. I love talking about trying to reach my goal which is to bra strap then beyond, currently slightly longer than collar bone..You can PM me or send to my email [email protected] or simply post here on the board; I can show pics but still dont know the trick to posting on here yet
