CRAZY...BUT I BELIEVE IT...

I bought some Creme of Nature Shampoo from a small chinese store and I thought it was a bit watery, but I assumed that that was how the product came. I later went to Sally's and found the same shampoo, but it was soo much more thicker and creamier...we do have to be careful...also...there is this woman who has a thing online where she teaches you to take care of your hair. she said that she had been using Mane and Tale Conditioner while taking care of her hair. She was completely against using products with petroleum. she said that she went to a local ethnic bss, she found that same conditioner sold there had petroleum listed on its content list. When she went back home to check her conditioner, which she had bought in a different area, she found that it did not contain petroleum. She sent a letter to the company questioning them why they had placed petroleum in the same product that was sold in a hair salon where more black people would buy it, they said to her that they assumed that this ingredient was good for "our" type of hair...WATCH OUT! :)

Thanks for the video. The only salon products I have are ABBA's Moisture Scensations (pre-bottle change) shampoo and conditioner. I got them at Loehmann's and Marshall's, respectively, to try them out. They seem fine, but if I repurchase, I'll go to a large-name distributor.

Yeah my mom use to warn me about this especially with Paul Mitchell stuff. That's all we use to use when I was growing up. They say to be careful of the bottles with a layer of dust on top, because that usually indicates they've been sitting around for a long while and probably past their shelf date. Now if I start finding Carol's Daughter stuff in Target, I'll really know someone is faking.
