Can anyone recommend a good salon (that you've actually been to) in Greensboro? If I can't find a stylist, I'm going to do it myself.

When I was in Greensboro the JCPenney salon at the mall was good but expensive. Otherwise I did it myself or went to Leon's beauty school. I stopped going to Leon's when they tried to charge me $45 for a wash, set, and wrap.

Instructor tried to say rubbing a bit of conditioner through my hair while at the shampoo bowl constituted deep conditioning.

Who'd you go to at Penny's and how much did they charge? I went to a really nice stylist that worked there a few years back and she hooked my grass up.

I live in greensboro. I have had great experiences at jcpennys too. Bijans salon on west market, right across from greensboro college is good too. I went there for about 6 months every week and my hair grew very nicely but I got tired of the overly religious banter sometimes. Overall though, they do a great job and a mean blowout. If you go ask for Maya (does beautiful color), or Mr.Deb. Tiania does EXCELLENT braids.

Say what? That is the dumbest explanation I have heard in a loong time.
