Hi Ladies,

I got my hair done a couple days ago and here's my length update. The first picture is from March 2011 and the second picture was taken yesterday. I'm pretty happy with my progress.

Great progress! Nice and thick!

wow wow wow! Your hair looks gorgeous! great progress!

You hair is pretty. How often do you trim and what's your hair care routine?

Thanks ladies!

My haircare regimen is pretty basic. I wear sew in weaves as a protective style. I wash and condition once a week or every other week if I'm slacking. I only trim when it's necessary. I think I got three trims this year. Here are the products I use:

Shampoo: Cream of Nature Moisturizing Shampoo (green and white bottle, yellow top)
Nioxin Scalp therapy for dandruff

Conditioner: Joico Moisture Recovery
Joico K-Pak intense hydrator
Joico K-Pak Reconstructor ( for protein). I use this maybe once every two
Months. I'm natural and my hair is protein sensitive.
Joico Moisture Recovery treatment balm ( I use this as a deep conditioner
Before I get a sew in)
Oils- evoo
Coconut- for shine
JMBO- for my edges

Moisturizer- Qhemet Biologics burdock root cream
Shescentit Seyani Hair Butter

I think that's all of them.

Eta: I drink lots of water and I also take prenatal vitamins (I'm nursing), b12, and fish oil. When I take my weaves down I am VERY careful and gentle. I am very anal about getting all the shed hair out and I remind my stylist not to braid too tight or sew too tight.

Very nice!!! Excellent progress OP. Thanks for sharing.

Your hair looks gorgeous... It super thick, healthy looking, and has grown well. I can tell your hair has been taken care of real well.
