I know once we pair off we dont chat much about our hairbuddies (AKA -- the person that shares your hair obsession with you

) so let's take some time to let others know what we like most about our hairbuddies or what is the best product or method they have introduced you to

Okay, my hairbuddy --Kitchen_tician has gorgeous hair- i have to say that because it's so true

Anyway we share alot of the same views on hair so it was fun meeting her in person a few weeks ago

Anyway, I was just using some products that she gave me at the Atlanta meeting and i was like these products are DA BOMB!!!!! i should pm her but i thought this deserved a public Shout Out. The products she passed on to me were:

*A full jar of Design Essentials Nutriment Rx Creme Hairdress/enriched with Shea Butter--All i i have to say is that this stuff is FANTASTIC. I had never even heard of this stuff before-- but thanks to my buddy -- Product Junkie SUPREME

i now know and am luvin this stuff. All it takes is a dab here and there and my hair looks fantastic (i use it at my hairline and also smooth another few dabs down the length of my hair -- this stuff is great

*Large jar of Profectiv MegaGrowth-- I put this on my ends (just a little, this stuff goes a LONG way) and bun my hair up. In the morning my hair ends are SMOOTH and obsessively touchable

Thanks so much for passing these on to me along with other products, but these are the ones i just had to highlight. I'm not much of a product junky so i dont know alot about all the different products so the effects of these products are a great and pleasant surprise for me

My hair buddy Brownie is the greatest!!! She listens to me whine, understands my impatience and serves as a great inspiration

since she's reached great lengths that I aspire too. She offers such encouragement, gives me lots of tips and great advice on low cost simple products for healthier hair. She's the best hair bud ever!!!!

My hairbuddy is DatJerseyDyme, and please believe she has a gorgeous head of hair!

The best thing she has introduced me to is NEXXUS. Omg, I probably would have never tried this stuff if it wasn't for her, and I am so glad I did! This is now my absolute favorite line of shampoos/conditioners and is a staple in my regimen.

Next best: deep conditioning for longer amounts of time. I used to only do maybe 10-15 minutes under the dryer, but now I do anywhere up to an 60+ minutes.. and I've noticed that my hair is more moisturized and softer since doing so.

Anky is my buddy and everytime I get a chance to talk to her she spouts out stuff and then I run and write it down and try to be just like her, everytime I feel like there is no hope for my hair I look at her album...awww now I'm getting teary eyed!

She always encourages me and also stps me from doing stupid things. I know that when she reaches her hair goal the world better watch out! Oh..and she actually makes me wanna get BRAIDS again!

Shoot, her twists look fabulous, she's already got a great hair routine down, and we have A LOT in common. We're both natural hair'd grad students!

and the confirmation that there are others who share my love of grease/oil.

Hey all
I'm comin out of lurker mode (going on a year now) to ask if anyone would like hair buddy who's not in the states?? Odd , I know but potentially fun (if u can wait 3 weeks for snail mail, then we could do great exchanges).
I'm 25 years old, born and raised in Namibia, varsity in Cape Town, busy with my post grad ... an accountant by occupation (although I profess to having too much personality going on to do this job much longer lol ), single, no kids yet.
Just got my new digicam so expect a flood of pictures.
I'm nappy, 4b, about 7 inches. Big gym bunny, anything to do with natural products & healthcare.. I'm there.

For those wanting a hair buddy post your hair type, goals and current length, if it's not in your siggy. It's great to have a hair buddy w/your same type and at your stage so that you can work together. My hair buddy has hair much longer than mine, but knowing that she's done it helps me immensely!!!
