My last relaxer was September of last year. I am presently transitioning. I am wearing protective hairstyles and taking vitamins. My hair is really growing. I am trying to decide whether to cut my hair soon or wait until September when I would have a whole year of growth. What do you all think?

At what rate does your hair grow now? Would there be a dramatic difference in lengths if you cut your hair now? And most importantly, would you mind losing that length?
I think the main thing you have to worry about is whether or not you are completely ready to transition. It is a big step, but if you are brave enough to do it, I don't see why not. You just have to be ready and mentally prepared for some of the quesitons/comments people are gonna bug you with. Folks are so nosey.
