For some reason - I've been having a major itch to try extensions
...I think I'm just bored with protective styles but I'm worried about damaging my hair by wearing it down. I've been doing some research and came across this method. I like that no glues, heat, or braiding is used. It's def pricier than a sew -in ( from what I've seen online ) but the results are much more natural looking. Any reviews??
The little hook they use to feed the hair through the bead looks like a latch hook - I used to do those little rug kits when I was younger.
You have got gorgeous long thick hair
.

!! I hope your hair is growing back nicely in those areas. Since I am gonna do this myself. I am gonna try and be very careful. I have made many mistakes with highlighting (not getting color I want) and with this techinque if I don't like the color I can simply remove the metal link and extension. And hopefully without damage I pray. To me it still seems safer than a chemical highlight application.

espicially when it comes to
I PAYED $1200 FOR THAT CRAP . NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.
, IT WAS SO SHORT I COULDN;T EVEN STICK MY HAIR IN A PONY TAIL. I WAS SO DISSAPOINTED. AND THEN THE STYLIST HAD THE NERVE TO BLAME ME FOR THE BREAKAGE! I DID EVERYTHING EXACTLY HOW SHE SAID IT TO THE T! I EVEN TOOK PICS AND EMAILED THEM TO HER AND SHE HAD THE NERVE TO SAY SHE FROM THE PICTURES SHE COULDN;T REALLY TELL OF ANY BREAKAGE. I KNOW I STILL HAVE THE PICS SOMEWHERE IN MY EMAIL SO IF ANY OF YOU GIRLS WANT TO SEE IT LET ME KNOW AND I WILL POST THEM HERE. PLUS IT WAS REALLY HARD TO STYLE WITH THOSE STUPID METAL CLIPS SHOWING , ITS HARD TO WASH YOUR HAIR CONDITION IT ETC . EVERYDAY I WOULD WAKE UP WITH 5 LOCS OFF MY HAIR. AND THE HAIR WAS HORRIBLE THEY CLAIM ITS HUMAN HAIR BUT IT BULLCRAP , THE HAIR DOESN;T MATCH OUR RELAXED TEXTURE BECAUSE THE HAIR IS SUPPOSIVELY EUROPEAN.
I don't think I'll be experimenting with this technique. Man when I experience customer service like that I feel like :hardslap:slapping someone. I am glad you are recovering from the breakage. Thanks for giving me the ugly truth. I needed to hear specifally the metal clips did the damage to decide not to do it. (b/c I was hyped on trying this out)
to you!
