Yes,I've done this before. It is great for the hair. As you know mayo is made up of eggs and oil, which are both good for the hair. Adding an extra egg to the mix increases the protein. The only problem I have with this is that I don't eat eggs (yuck-yuck-yuck)so I don't buy them. So I wind up going to the A&P at the corner (yah,1 time I went with mayo under a plastic cap and a scarf) to get a half dozen eggs.

I've got a little corner in my kitchen where I keep honey, molasses, coconut milk, evoo, etc. for my hair. I like mixing different things together knowing are good for my hair, are items I buy anyway and know there is little chance of allergic reations. And the cost savings are great.

I used it one time and loved the results. My hair came out shinny and moiste. At first I had my doubts about it because I really don't feel comfortable using food in my hair. My hair did smell while it was in and the egg did kind of get stuck and hard, but I think it was because I might have left it in 2 long.
