Have you used MTG??

I have been looking for a product to stimualte hair growth and I keep hearing about MTG in the threads. What exactly is MTG, how often is it to be used and how safe is it? I see that it is used on Horses to stimulate growth, but how safe is it for us? What type of results did you see?
