Healthier eating habits = softer, more defined curls/coils?

Hey yall,

I've been eating pretty, pretty healthy lately. I noticed that my new growth seems to be softer and my coils seemed to be more defined than what I have noticed in the past.

Has anyone seen this happen with them? Any thoughts on this?
 
I'm basically doing raw with chicken, fish and whole grains. I think I'm sticking with it.

Before that I was just cooking at home and avoiding red meat and excess fat. It was always healthy but I've been doing this more intensive raw thing for a week now.
