help/advice needed for buying wigs,ponys, wefts online?

paging people who buy wigs,ponys, weaves online!!!!

outside of knowing what color hair you need and quality, what should one look for when shopping online?

i just found the wig of my dreams online through a yahoo vendor (http://store.goldenmartbeautysupply.com/index.html) and am scared to purchase simple because i never brough hair online before. i know my local beauty stores don't have the product so i have to order online

I don't know "what to look for", but Golden Mart has fast shipping. I've ordered a few half wigs from them and they were shipped to me very fast.

Oh, and if you didn't know, human hair colors don't really correspond with synthetic hair colors. For instance, in synthetic hair, I was a #2 (dark brown - before I started using henna). But with human hair, I was a #1B (off black). #2 human hair was too light for me.

do all synthetic brands use the same color chart? i know for my synthetic pony i am a 4 but online when looking at the pics it seems like i should get a 2 because 4 was too light

I don't know, I sort of guessed at my color and the #2 was a match for me. But I have phony ponies and half wigs that are different brands, but all are #2. The color looked the same to me.
