Anyone have any idea if Evening Primrose supplement make you sleepy? I have been so sleepy these last few days I have started taking this, along with several other supplements. I wonder if the 'Evening" portion in the name indicates it relaxes you and probable should only be taken at night. My directions do not mention this but I have to figure out what is making me so sleepy. HELP!

You know, I've never had this experience with EPO, and I've taken it on and off for years. You said you are taking several other supplements. Did you just begin taking those too? What are some of the other ones?

So that is what is wrong with me. I started taking it the end of last week and it seems like I can never get enough sleep.

Yo word. Now that I think about it I really get restful nights sleep. Ok I will remember to take at night.

hmmm i thought thats just what the name of the flower was...i havent taken them longer to notice that. ill be on the look out though

ayeshia, You are right, that is the name of the flower. Maybe it is one of those that bloom only in the evening. So you might have a point there....

All of the other supplements I am taking are like; Multi vita, MSM, Bioton, Vita E and C... sfuff like that. Even taking B-12. But this moning I tit not take the EPR and will take it only at night so I will see if that makes a difference. Thanks All.

b12 made my sister practically pass out immediately. she was asleep within a half and hour. i think that was it. ..

Hotshot,

I don't know why folks say that B-12 gives you so much energy.... It does not do anything for me, in fact, I feel that I get even sleepier too!

After coming across websites I have learned of on another thread, I now believe that I am detoxifying for the high dosage of MSM. It is fatigue that I have been feeling. I hope that is passes very soon, plus I will back off of most everything for a couple of days to get me through the weekend. Here is the link: http://www.cybervitamins.com/msminfo.htm
This is the paragraph that explained it all for me: Less than 20% of the population may experience negative detoxification symptoms in the first one to ten days during which toxins are flushed from the system. Symptoms may include diarrhea, skin rash and/or possible headache along with several days of fatigue. In general, the more intense the symptoms the more toxins there are in the body and the more MSM is needed for detoxification. To reduce toxic symptoms (if you suspect candida or metals) start with a lower dose.
