Good morning, just took out some crotchet braids and I'm ready to wash, and deep condition. Can anyone tell me if this is a hard or light protein treatment. Should I follow up with a moisturizing conditioner like ORS replenishing conditioner? Thanks

May I ask where you purchased it?

It's definitely a medium to strong protein treatment judging from the ingredient list.
When a protein treatment or reconstructor leaves my hair feeling soft, I usually skip deep conditioning.
But if my hair feels hard afterwards, I will D.C.

Thanks for your input. I will keep that in mind. Ordered from Amazon.

No ORS!!!!! That's a light protein/balancing conditioner.

You need something that is strictly for moisture.

Wow, thanks for your comment. I never knew ORS Replenishing was a light protein/balancing conditioner. All these years I've been using it as a "moisturizing prepoo" :ohwell: because it detangled my hair so well. I've been going super hard with it lately because I thought my hair needed more moisture, but I was actually giving it nothing but protein.
