Help with hair type

When they say hair type do they mean before it was relax or the way it is now relaxed i don know im confused can a gentle soul explain this to me knowing my hair type would do beneficial to me thanks a million

HI,

Your hair type would be before it is relaxed, so you'd probably need a good inch to an inch & 1/2 to determine unless you're natural. There is a thread, I'll look for it and bump it up for you. HTH
