soooo... having been on hair boards for several years now, people IRL ask me about hair-related stuff quite often. now it's to the point where men are asking me about re-growing hair... i know right... :look:

i wonder if any of the techniques some of you ladies use to re-grow hairlines would work? or do y'all think not because male pattern baldness is something totally different? any of the ladies here helped men in their lives with their hair? i almost feel like i should search for that guy hair site... what was it, 360 waves or something like that... :perplexed

that site is, um, something! :look: but aren't they mostly teenagers or very young men? probably mostly too young to suffer from male pattern baldness. well, i don't know anything about this, but those little commercials on ovation cell therapy's site had men on them. iono.

I think the only thing they can do is stop the loss of hair with a drug like rogain or something. As far as regrowing it (if it's from inherited baldness), I don't think that's possible. I think that's when you turn to hair plugs.

Hrm. I don't know. Most of the ladies who have regrown edges, etc, they lost their edges due to external damage of some sort.
With the fellows, on the other hand, their follicles are just giving up the ghost.

*think* Nice & Wavy's hubby was using OCT, I think, and it was working for him.

Hey - I figure it's worth a try. It might not work, but it's worth a try.

Yes, you are right...he does use OCT and now he's using the MT to see if there is a difference. It is working, but slowly.

He shaved his head again and now its growing in thicker on top..he actually has hair growing in areas he didn't have hair growing in AT ALL before. He is so excited...ya'll should see him "megga-saggin"....he looks so adorable and he is consistant too:lachen:..he makes sure he puts it on everyday!

His co-workers are noticing and they keep saying that he is using Rogaine or something...but he just smiles.
