Home remedies for scalp dermatits

I'm lloking for some tried-but-true home remedies for nursing dry, flaky, and itchy scalp back to health without a perscription. It soen't have to be all natural, just something I can get w/o getting a doctor involved. My scalp is so ANGRY right now!

Oh yeah, I remember this thread. Thanks for pulling it for me. I know the derm is the best way to go, but I hate havving to get scrips filled. by the way, NubianQueen, how's your scalp now?

No problem, melodee. As far as my scalp, I stopped using surge for the month of January and it was fine. I did individual braids and resumed surging because I planned to do daily co washes. After two, MAYBE three days the same flakes showed up. So, not sure what to do next. I just added a lot of infusium and a little vitamin e oil to my 14 bottle. Hopefully that works. I want to use this stuff because it is the ONLY thing that can make me grow an inch in a month, but I can't handle the scalp problems.

Melodee, did you try acv. I swear by it, plus you could spritz distilled water on your scalp in between washes (prior to going to bed).
