Ladies I was wondering if any of you could give me a good recipe for a homemade moisturizer for braids. I have micros right now because i am transitioning from relaxed hair to natural. I also have scalp issues, including seb derm. The ingredients that I have right now: olive oil, rosemary, tea tree oil. I want something that I can mix together and spray on my hair daily to increase growth and maintain the health of my hair.

Thanks in advance!

Ok my mix is distilled water, conditioner, infusium moisturloge, and S-curl.

Its not elaborate or anything but using it has kept my hair soft and healthy. HTH

I'm staying with my transitioning regimen of water spritz followed by some Alba Botanica leave in followed by oil. I sometimes add some IC Fantasia leave in especially to my scalp. The regimen helped me grow enough healthy, supple hair to BC so I recommend it. My new sealing oil is my homemade raw shea mixed with jojoba and some peppermint oil..that is all.

I mix Infusium moisterology leave-in, nexxus humectres, glycerin and water in a spray bottle.

whatever you make, make sure and add a perservative to your mix to prevent/decrease the growth of bugs and germs!!! :)
