So, I'm sure you guys have all seen this hairstyle on Yaya from ANTM. I can see it is a twist out, but can't tell if it was done on wet or dry hair.

Also, do you guys think her hair was pinned to the side? Or do you think she's using a banana clip?

It looks like it is a twist out done on wet hair. then pinned up to the side using bobbypins. I don't think she used a banana clip. very cute summer style

Aw, that's a very cute and elegant prom hairstyle. here is another view of what appears to be the same style

You could even put some perm rods at the ends of your twists so your ends are curly

Defnintely a twist out. But it may depend on how your twists outs normally looks when done wet or dry. I can see how this can also be as a result of a twist out on dry hair. Usually when I keep my dry twists in for a few days (twisted with Cantu Shea Buter Leave-in), the twist out looks very much like this.

So do you guys think that I should do medium sized (marker) or small sized (pencil) to get it to look like this? I mean, I know it won't be replicated exactly...and I am planning on putting perm rods on the ends.
