I have seen such great reviews of this product. But ..... I was wondering how would you apply it if you are bunning everyday and how often per week. I wash every two days and that may be too much when this product is in rotations.

Any suggestions?

I wanna know too, also it's safe to put sulphur straight to the scalp, can I overdo it? does it have side effects? what other ingredients are in the BT? I am allergic to some products, so what other ingredients are listed?

I'm not sure I'm going to buy another. I don't know if it's helping my growth; I won't check until I'm done with the bottle. But oh my gosh, I make a mess EVERYTIME i apply it. Last night I got it in my eye and had to have my hall mates help me flush my eye out.

I wash every few days, so I'm not even sure it's getting a chance to work. erplexed

Well I'm certainly going to continue to use it because I see much less hair falling than I used to. In just my everyday routine of taking my bun down and applying BT while massaging my scalp, I get next to no hair fall. This is without combing at all during the week. Before BT, I would get at least 10 or 15 and sometimes more long strands during my take down and remoisturize. And some would be caught in the little satin sock around my foam bun. I'm not seeing any of this and it's got to be the use of the BT, cause that's the only change in my regimen in the past several weeks. I don't apply it straight from the bottle to my scalp. I apply it to my middle three fingertips and massage into my scalp until I've applied a little all over. That way I can do it every night and not get overly saturated and I have good control over how much product I use. I find I do not have to saturate my hair for this to be beneficial. It has not been in the least bit irritating to my skin or scalp. Which is great for me, cause I broke out in a horrible alligator face rash the first time I tried amla powder and I won't go near it again, although I tried the oil this past weekend and so far so good. The PJ in me makes me brave or crazy sometimes. I wash once a week...on occasion twice..and think I am having great results. I measure how my growth is doing by how soon I see it come in after getting a relaxer and I saw new growth one week earlier this time. I started BT 1.5 week before my last relaxer and have continued for almost 4 weeks. New growth coming in one week earlier makes this a great growth booster to me!!! The fact that my new growth is so much softer and my hair smells really good is just icing on the cake! If you're just trying it, hang in there for a while and tweak your routine. You won't be sorry!

IMO, it doesn't really matter how you wear your hair and use it, as long as your scalp is accessible. What would matter is how often you wash. I am starting to notice a little bit of buildup on my scalp, but that's b/c I have yet to wash my hair in these cornrows. As long as you wash at least once a week, it can probably only increase your growth and softness.

I stand by this product because I have seen excellent results. I will have to take pics of my cornrows, b/c I got them done on the 14th, which was only 13 days ago, and since then my hair has grown out ALOT. You can tell that its growth b/c my hair doesn't look like I have been sleeping without a scarf, and it doesn't look frizzy. It just looks as if my real hair is growing out. I apply it every other night or every other morning, just because I forget sometimes.
Just my opinion!

Danimani, maybe you have a defective bottle?? I poked a hole in mine to make the opening bigger, but maybe you should by a little appliator bottle from the BSS and apply it using that. I'd hate for you not to get the full BT experience!

Yeah Dani it sounds like the hole is too big. Did you cut the tip or did you poke a hole?

I poke a very small hole in my applicator tip. That way only a small amount comes out and I can squeeze or not squeeze the bottle and I get better control. Like Lavender said you can put some on your finger tips and massage it on your scalp and that should help out a lot.

To the OP, it doesnt matter how often you wash your hair. As long as the product has contact with your scalp as much as possible you will be fine. I would suggest that you wash your hair and then apply it to the scalp daily, at least once or every other day. HTH ladies!

Dani, if you are getting it in your eyes...you are using WAY TOO MUCH!!!

If you're in a pickle and can't wash when you have cornrows or braids you can clean your scalp with witch hazel and cotton balls. lol I ordered my BT last week and am standing at the door like a crack fiend when the mail man comes by..... And I thought my pj'ism had gotten better.

I am looking for mine too!! I ordered it on Monday. My scalp has been itching so bad, and I have dandruff Where the hell is this coming from. I like the original MTG but hated the smell. I had great results. Boy I wish that mail man would come on

Trust me...your hair is growing....you will see if you keep using it faithfully.

I plan on applying it the same way I did with MTG...every night and sleep with a baggie on. I already took before pics....will take after pics once I finish all 3 of my bottles. I just shake my bottle up and part my hair into 4 sections. I run it over my scalp section by section and call it a day. I use mine every 2-3 days. I haven't seen a huge growth spurt yet but this stuff is great. If you have an itchy scalp, it will soothe it big time. My hair is more managable and smells great too. I will keep using it as long as I can afford it.

This product is GREAT. I have lots of new growth.

I had trouble with BT coming out of the bottle where it twists on. I just poured it into one of those coloring bottles with the slim nozzle and it's been no problems at all!!

I really feel like BT will help me reach BSL.

Oh..... thanks to BT and Scurl moisturizer, my nape is even growing in. My friend just told me that it's soft and curly back there. Okay, I've never even had hair there before.

I can't WAIT to start using it! I ordered this last Thursday and got a message they it JUST shipped out today I've been looking for it all week long. Ah well, if this works for me I'll make sure I order refills at the half point mark so I don't go without. This sound like something I can and will be faithful to for a long time or at least until BSL if I get results like the rest of you.

I have been using it for a month before I got the weave my hair is sooo strong, barely sheds and it is making me look like i needed a touch-up 3 weeks post-relaxer. I still apply it to my scalp every other day. I don't take supplements AT ALL, just a multivitamin... and I can say BT is the source of my growth.
