I use Dr.Woods soap (similar to Dr. bronners, etc). it can be used as a body wash, baby clothes wash and gentle shampoo. Then i put it in my washing machine on 'hand wash'. if you do not have this cycle, its probably best to physically hand wash it while ur in the shower.

I like to clean old toothbrushes with that harsh taill head and shoulders. I would use it on my scarves too.

The dye on my bonnet bleeds on my pillowcases :wallbash:

I wash mine with my bed linen and airdry.

P.S. I don't use my silk scarves when I put sulfer on or oil-up my scalp, that's when I use the cheapie satin bonnet. I do this so I don't have to wash the silk scarves weekly and wear them out.
