Just curious to know how everyone has been styling/wearing their hair this year, and why that particular choice.

I've mostly worn wigs this year because it's the easiest option for me and I like the fact that I can change my look in an instant. I tried weave for the first time, but took it out after a week due to terrible itching. I've also worn my own natural hair in plaits/twists a few times and did Marley twists too, but I think those styles age me.

So what are your best/most loved styles? I've included a poll in which you can pick up to two options. Also, pics would be nice but it's optional!

Ever since my sister figured out how to do Havana Twists, I've been wearing them for the past two months and will continue for a while. They are quick, they aren't tight, and last for up to a month at a time.

Really convenient.

Braidouts

I like how the definition from the braids last throughout the day. I am also content with the length and shape of my braidouts and retains moisture and softness.

Hi! I'm natural & my styles change..Braid-outs,Large-braids,twist,bun's,Bantu knots,lite flat ion & lite blow-dry...

*Today,I have 6 braids & it's loosely pinned up..Cold out & this lite weight style, gives me freedom put my hat on,with-out messing up my hair.

Happy Hair Growing!

Crochet braids have been my 'go to' style for this year. I did play about with having my own hair out for a few 'rest' weeks, and I did up dos, curlformers, straw sets, twists, twist outs etc. For winter, I had in mind to do crochet braids, but I'll be weaved up instead.

This year I upped my heat usage. Bad idea, so now, it's on to wigging it, a nice French braid to the back banded with my ends tucked in. My hair is relaxed.

I chose natural styles and other because it listed twistouts and updos. I don't know if wash n'gos are included in that. For most of this year, I wore twistouts and braidouts clipped up or bunned, and had my hair straightened twice. Now I'm about that wash n'go life . I know most put their hair up in the winter, but I guess I love being able to use my hair to keep my head warm. Wash n'go stuffed under a hat/hood = warm ears

Up until two weeks ago, I was wigging. Now I've switched to bunning so I chose Others.

ETA: I forgot to mention that I'm natural.

I'm texlaxed/relaxed. I've been wearing braidouts and buns. But, I'm about to try wigs. I don't know how long it will last though.

I wear my hair in wash n goes or buns. I am not in love with either style on myself so i might try exploring wigs again. I like to wear my hair straight but my hair is still to short for my tastes.

I wear u part wigs, twist outs, buns and I flat iron as well! I'm going to start roller setting soon! I like variety! I'm relaxed with a lot of texture!

I've been wearing buns. It's about to be weave until the spring though. Earliest is May I will wear my hair out.

Wore sew-ins this spring and summer. For fall and winter, wearing a wig. My hair underneath, I alternate between twists and braids.

I've been bunning it all year, I would flat iron my hair every 3 mts just to see progress. The week before christmas I plan on getting a dominican blowout for a length check because I'm a partcipant in the bsl 2014 challenge ':)

I wear rollersets and change my hair with the size of the roller.

If my curls fall I do a cute braid or updo.

I retain length best this way.

I'm natural and wearing two strand twists with extensions until Spring. I love this protective style! During my rest weeks, I wear up dos, like a tuck-n-roll, a bun or Bantu Knot Outs. Now that I have a little length and not worried about the hang effect as much anymore, I may start wearing my own hair in the twists.

In the winter, exclusivly wearing PS natural styles, or baggie bun for two weeks at at time.

I mostly wear WNGs, twist outs, and buns. I would say that WNGs are my go to style.

Posted from my shower...while peeing.
