How many inches until your next goal?

Hi Ladies,

I just realized that I only have about 3 inches to go before my longest layer of hair reaches my next goal which is armpit length. I am on target to reach this by the end of the year which was my goal. I decided that if I look at my hair goals in smaller chunks it will be easier to stay encouraged.

I'm just wondering how many more inches everyone has to go until their next goal and when you think you will reach it.

i have been chopping off ends here and there so i need about 4" more to meet my next goal of brastrap length again.

I'm kind of nervous about getting my next touch up b/c even though it will have been almost 6 months, it just doesn't seem like my hair has grown that much. (feels like it under there though!!!!)

I was about 1/2 inch from bra strap in Dec. 2005 and I figured by May 2006, I would be at least a couple inches past bra strap and I would be fine with that (but I got a mini-trim in late March and I saw the hair on the floor and it wasn't that much)

So I am keeping my fingers crossed that by May, I will at least be a couple of inches past BSL, which is about 3 inches in the last 6 months! I don't think that's an unrealistic goal but it just looks like it won't be there

Great thread! My ultimate goal is mid back. Last time I measured was at my last touch up in Feb and I was about 3 inches from midback. Since then I got scissor happy and did some aggressive trimming so I'm not sure how far I am now. The good thing is I gots lots and lots of new growth so I'm crossing my fingers that I'm 3 inches or less away when I touch up next month.

Girl, your hair is so thick and lush, would you please send some of those good vibes my way so I am at my goal when I touch up?? And when you go cutting again, I'll be glad to take the excess off your hands!! (as I mentioned, it's a jungle under there when i run my fingers through it so I am just hoping )

I got about 3-4 inches to my goal of bra stap length and about 8-9 inches of my goal to waist length. I got about an inch of coiled newgrowth so I am hoping that when I relaxer I will be a lot closer.

I want to be wasit length so bad that I have decided to only use heat once a month until then. I think it should take me about 2 more years at the most, including set backs.

I clipped about 2 inchess off over the weekend to get rid of scraggly ends, so I think I need about 4 more inches to make it to elbow length. But I'll probably need to actually grow 6 more inches, so that I can get it layered and still be elbow length.

me too! I'm guessing I need around 3 as well. I'm hoping to be there by the end of the year or sometime near the beginning of next. Giving myself a little room for set backs

Thanks girl! I don't know what the problem was that day. I think I liked hearing the sound the scissors make. The dh took my scissors away so no more "trimming" for me.

I'm 3.5 inches from Mid Back, I should reach that sometime in July. Then after I will be 4.5 inches from Waist Length.

Around 5 inches from brastrap. If I can stay away from the scissors. If my hair keeps responding to the monistat the way it did last month. I'll get those 5 inches sooner than expected!! Woo Hoo!

Well I guess I've got you all beat. I have a whopping 10 inches until I meet my goal. Considering I just did the huge chop and have only set one goal, Ultimate goal of Healthy Armpit Length (My hair is too thick to even imagine trying to deal with anything longer) I'm not so depressed. My regimne (MTG and C&G) is getting me along faster than I hoped for. Also my other obstacle is I have a long neck so I have double the inches to go! lol.
