How many times do I use Nioxin Foll. Booster?

Hello Ladies!

I just purchased the Nioxin Follicle Booster. For those of you that use it - how many times per day to do you use it? Once or twice daily?

I use it every night and it is so wonderful. I cut my hair nov. and by jan. it was like it never cut it. I had some set back and had to cut my hair again in Jan. and Nioxin Foll. Booster seems to be doing its job. Let me know how it works out

Thanks for replying SimSim. Do you use it on your whole scalp or do you use it in particular areas? I'm concerned about my hairline, so I'm just dabbing a little on (with my fingertips) those areas.

I didn't notice a burning or tingling sensation when I used it. I was expecting to feel something - I'm wondering if I'm putting enough on?

I am so sorrry /images/graemlins/frown.gif I use Nexxus Vita Tress Biotin Creme. I thought it was ther same thing. with this I do get a lot of burning and tingling sensation. Sorry about that /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I've been using the NFBooster for about 2 weeks and I can see a difference just a little but it is still very early. I use the shamppo and conditioner for damaged hair the gold. I've noticed that my scalp loooves stimulation such a cool minty feel on the scalp. Using the whole line you will get that and then some. After the shampoo and conditioner I used the FB and I did feel a real strong tingling sensation on my scalp. I purchased the small bottles and I want to use this until it is gone just to help with some shedding and maybe promote some health to my hair. I will then switch back to ELUCENCE which excellent for me. I am very HAPPY with Elucence. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I hope you don't mind my asking, but how much of your hair did you cut off? Did you track your hair growth each month? How did you apply this product (ie, to problem areas, or your whole scalp)? Please give a complete review

This is really strange - I have yet to feel a tingling sensation when i use it. I wonder if I got a bad batch or if my scalp is really tough. Has anyone else not experienced a tingling sensation?

Aalize, I cut off 1 1/2' at the end of Nov. bringing my hair above my neck. When I relaxed it in Jan. it was barely touching my shoulder. I cut another 2' three weeks ago and I got 1/2' new growth already. I went to the hairdresser and she told me I need a perm and I just got one 3 weeks ago. I measure the growth with my pinkie finger, I use the first line on my pinkie because that's 1'. I put the BIOTIN CREAM all over my head. I think it helps a lot because I take vitamins also.

My problem is I cannot retain the hair I have now. Since I'm kinda new to wearing my own hair, I have to try and see what works for me. I get good advice here, but what works for one may not work for someone else. I try to use produts with Biotin in it.

I use to go to this lady to get my hair done and I stop. Know I started again and I must say when she does my hair I have no breakage what so ever. Everyone that goes to her have nice healty hair. I know a lot of you guys don't use stuff with petrolatum or mineral oil, but she recommend this grease and I have no problem with it. Plus her hair is below bra strip

I use the nexxus biotin cream. it's the same as the nioxin, but only because biotin is a mean ingr.

I was referring to the Nioxin Follicle Booster. I used it again last night and it didn't really tingle, sting or have any irritation whatsoever.

I don't always tingle from it. Actually the most sensation I get is more like an itch than a tingle. I don't think everyone gets the burning or tingling sensation. Some people's scalps are more sensitive than others. But even without the tingles, I can still see it working.

Would someone mind explaining what the follicle booster does? It sounds self-explanatory, but I just want to be sure. Thanks.

Thanks for replying Notsomebody. KitKat - the follicle booster is supposed to stimulate your scalp so your hair will grow - especially in places where it's thin.

The FB doesn't always tingle when you apply it. Mine has to be freshly washed in order to feel something, and anytime after that like the next day the tingle is minor if at all.

Pandora is right, the best place to look first is on ebay that's where I got mine for a lot cheaper than in the shop. They sell it over here too as well Pandora, which actually surprised the hell outta me.
