I am just wondering....right now I am about 7 weeks post is it ok to air dry and use caruso steam rollers w/o getting any breakage??

TIA,

I would say 12 at the most. I straighten the roots using the scarf method and put the rollers on the ends.HTH :)

My hair must be damaged or something. I could never airdry, scarf or not, and then just use Carusos. I would be a hot frizzy tangled-up mess. I always feel so jealous when I hear that other ladies can do things like this and still come out looking good. Not me. I would have to straighten my hair first before using Carusos. I do all the time between relaxers, but I only go 8 weeks between each one.

You may need to change your leave-ins though... well you can airdry your hair in 6 big braids OR dry it on low under a hooded dry. After that, you may need to slightly straighten it with a blow dryer and a comb + a bit of a creamy moisturizer. And then you are ready to use the caruso rollers. My leave-ins are Aphogee (not the Keratin), Rusk Smoother leave-in (I love this one) and Chi Silk Infusion. My moisturizser is ORS olive oil, the one in the bottle, very creamy, I love it and it smells good

My hair actually airdries nicely – soft and manageable. My leave-ins are the bomb - I use Fermodyl 619, Qhemet Olive Cream Detangler and Fantasia IC Serum.

But I normally flatiron after that. I just can’t turn around and use Carusos on it without using some kind of heat. It would have too much volume and be very puffy (I tried it )

Oh well.
