a corrective relaxer? Mine was kept in too short (5 minutes and didn't do anything).

I also was considering switching to Lye. Is this too much trama for my hair. I last relaxed on Friday.

1) You had a relaxer in for five minutes total then rinsed it out?...or

2) You rinsed the relaxer out five minutes too early?

Why? Was it burning?

Anyway, I would wait at least a month to re-relax. Some may say 2 weeks but to be on the safe side I'd at least wait 4.
