I've lurked the forum for about a couple months and I kept hearing about conditioner washes, and so I tried one a few months back, and my hair still felt dirty and too much build up. I must have did something wrong obviously. So how do you do it then? Do you wash the scalp and hair, or just the strands alone. Then afterwards, do you proceed to style as usual, or since the hair technically wasn't "cleaned", are you not supposed to style it afterwards at all. Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!!!

I do conditioner washes at least 3 times a week. I place on strands, then shower, then rinse. Once i week, i'll clarify to get rid of the buildup.

i usually wear my hair in a ponytail after i've conditioner washed. i'll let it air dry.
