hi ladies,

i am having the hardest time keeping my edges straight after i flat iron my hair. any suggestions??!! (and i cant use gel because i dont have a perm) Thanks ladies!!

use organics edge control and then tie down with a head tie.(the head tie or scarf is going to be exceptionally important)

Do you use a serum that fights reversion? Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum and Sabino Moisture Block (no Lok & Blok) are two popular ones.

And STAY OUT OF THE HEAT!! May be a duh moment, but I don't even attempt to straighten when the humidity is above a certain level or my hair will POOF within hours.

Some kind of wax stick. They do great. I use one by Beyond The Zone called Stiff Head at Sally's.

I have used a product called Hick's Total Transformation Edges.. it's a bit pricey but it definitely keeps your edges straight and washes right out.
