As I look my hair, I noticed that my roots and near the roots of my hair is thicker. My ends look thinner than the rest of my hair. My ends are not together (you can see spaces in between locks, if you know what I mean). Has anyone else had a problem with this? How can I make my ends look thicker and fuller? Any suggestions, techniques, or products I could use?
Well, one possible guess is that the new growth could be making the roots look thicker and the ends appear thinner. Or, maybe you've had some breakage along the way and a nice trim would help things get back in order. Did you see the latest pictures of Supergirl's or read her thread on her issue with thin ends?
I dealt with my thin ends by getting a nice trim. It was worth it! I don't have to do anything to "mask" them b/c it never worked anyway. HTH
I was going to say the exact same thing Hairlove said. I notice if I am past 8 weeks post relaxer my roots are very thick and makes my ends look a little thinner.
I will say that if they are almost "see through" no matter how many weeks post relaxer than you need a good trim. I have decided that I will no longer let my hair look unhealthy trying to hold on the damaged ends for the sake of length.

I haven't had much breakage so I think it's the thickness of my new growth. I just had a trim on May 10 which helped a lil bit. I'll just wear up more (ponytail, half-up/half-down) instead of down.
