what is the safest rinse to use? I am looking for a warm brown shade but nothing to drastic. I am also wondering since I am 4 wks post relaxer is ok to color or should I wait to go to my stylist for my touch up. Any suggestions? TIA

As long as the rinse doesn't have ammonia/peroxide, you're cool. What color is your natural hair? You can use a rinse (without the ingredients above) anytime, even right after a touch-up (which I always preferred).

Oh my natural hair color is a dark dark dark brown.

You may need a permanent if you want to go up a level. But before trying a permanent, you may want to try the Sebastians rinse. I know Lindy tried it and her hair actually went lighter!

I used to use Rejuvatone.

The black never went away.

The mahogany showed up a bit but my hair didn't lighten. The tint showed up best in the sun. I also used their burgundy.

I've used the Beautiful Collections on my mom's hair in black. It did okay, not the best with gray coverage. I use the permanent Miss Clairol for my hair color.
