I can put box braids with weave in other people's hair but I can't get it to work right in my own head!! If I braid the opposite way that I normally do (I start with the right strand of hair and cross it over the center then take the left over that one) it goes ok for the first stroke but because I'm so used to doing right over left I get confused and mess it all up :wallbash:

I know nothing about weaving but maybe it'd work if you had one of those 360 degree mirrors so rather than trying to use just your mind to remember which way to go, you're actually watching yourself and thus can see when you are about to go wrong. *shrug*

This will probably be my next hair purchase :) Thanks!

I need to practice more but I'm about to go get some rubber bands and do flat twists in the front, bantu knots in the back and call it a day...

Ok I know what I'm adding to my Christmas list.
