I finally wore my natural hair out!

This is my first attempt at a style since being natural. I keep my hair in some type of braids or sew-in. My son told me that I wasn't going anywhere with him with my hair looking this way. I like it! You can't see it but I put two twists in the back. I don't like how light my hair turned out in some places so I'm toning those parts down on the next dye job.

I am glad you like it. Carry yourself with confidence while you rock your natural hair out. Your son will notice, and 15 years from now, when his SO wants to go natural, he will remember your confidence and he will not give her a hard time...

He forgets that he sported an afro several years ago and my parents ridiculed him about it until I showed him their pictures from back in the day.

You should've seen the looks I got at work. It was one of those priceless moments. I almost laughed at them.

Thank you. The darker color is honey blonde by Clairol Textures&Tones and the lighter color is the same brand in lightest blonde. The bss didn't have the honey blonde so I got the lighter one thinking that it wouldn't make that much of a difference from looking at the picture of the girl on the box. I like the darker one better.
